Mark Wilbourn Director Education & Training (former)

Working in mental health presents a myriad of challenges, not least because it affects people across the lifespan. The Applied Mental Health Studies Framework of courses provides an opportunity for mental health professionals to develop the knowledge, skills and attitudes for working with people across the lifespan with lived experience of mental illness, their carers, and fellow professionals.

The courses are embedded in a philosophy of recovery-oriented care, instilling hope and empowering people to live meaningful lives with or without symptoms of mental illness. A fully online mode of delivery provides flexibility for the learner, supported with ‘live’ application to practice sessions conducted through zoom web conferencing and facilitated by experienced clinicians. Join us in Semester 1, 2018 and make a difference in mental health.
